Congratulations to Ann Fisher, Co-founder of Bailey Fisher Executive Search, one of 25 business leaders nominated for the title of Cambridge’s Most Influential Person.

Ann is one of 25 influential business leaders selected by an independent judging panel for the inaugural MIP awards for Cambridge News, alongside Charles Cotton, Mike Lynch and Alan Barrell amongst others.

Peter Abel, Head of Barclays Corporate in Cambridgeshire said: “Having now seen the high quality of those nominated it has made the judging process particularly challenging. The collective contribution to Cambridge that these individuals have made is quite incredible and their involvement in the business community to date, and in the future, will ensure Cambridge continues to be at the cutting edge of innovation and entrepreneurship.”

Ann is a Director and Co-founder of Bailey Fisher Executive Search, where she handles CEO appointments and is the driving force behind the highly successful Women 4 Technology networking events in Cambridge and London.  Ann is instrumental in building relationships with spin-out companies from business incubators and universities across the UK, as well as VC funds and professional advisors.   Prior to co-founding Bailey Fisher in 1998, Ann trained with a Top 10 Manchester accountancy firm, before moving into the commercial sector as Head of Finance with an early stage technology company.  At the age of 27 she founded her first recruitment company, building to a successful exit within 5 years.

The winner of the title Cambridge's Most Influental Person will be announced in September.
