- 05/04/2011 - Sharon Vosmek named 2011 Silicon Valley Woman of Influence
Sharon Vosmek, CEO of Astia, has been named as a 2011 Woman of Influence by Silicon Valley Business Journal.
Sharon was one of 100 women honoured at a recent awards ceremony. The Business Journal recognised 100 of Silicon Valley's most influential business women, nominated by their peers and selected by a panel of judges for their career and community contributions.
As CEO of Astia, Sharon works with women-led high-growth companies globally as they raise capital, grow their business and develop the leadership of the founding team. The Astia model is exceptionally successful, with more than 60% of start ups securing funding or an exit within one year of qualifying for its elite fundraising programme.
Sharon will be the guest speaker at Bailey Fisher's Women 4 Technology networking lunch in Cambridge on 8 June.
