We are delighted to announce Cathy Curling as guest speaker for the next Women 4 Technology networking lunch in Cambridge.
Wednesday 22 Sept 2010 from 12.30pm – 2pm
Networking Lunch
Hotel Felix, Cambridge
Cathy Curling, CEO Curling Consulting
Cathy works with world-leading electronics/photonics clients, and drives UK government policy on innovative technology competitiveness and routes to commercialisation.
Previously, Cathy was CTO of Plastic Logic, a University of Cambridge spin-out at the cutting edge of plastic electronics, where she positioned and sold the Plastic Logic technical proposition world-wide to support major VC-led funding rounds.
During her career with Philips Electronics, she developed multiple printing processes for electronics products - focusing latterly on low cost manufacture of LCD flat screen TVs. Having successfully driven the technology transfer into volume manufacture in the Far East through Philips' JV with LG Display, these technologies are now part of our high
street product offerings.
Cathy will share Lessons learned at the technology sharp end - the story thus far.
Attendance at this event is by invitation only, at a cost of £10 per head to include a 2 course lunch with wine and coffee. Due to the popularity of previous events, places must be booked and paid for in advance. If you are a female CEO, CXO, Non-exec Director, VC or business angel in the technology sector and would be interested in attending this or future events, please contact helen@baileyfisher.com or ann@baileyfisher.com
