Financial Controller
Location: Cambridge
Salary: 50k + benefits DOE

Our client, an established global market leader in the manufacture of internet-connected hard disk based audio products and media appliances, is looking to recruit a financial controller. As part of the UK management team, this is the number one UK finance role reporting into the UK CEO and US VP of finance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Co-ordination and direction of the financial planning, budgeting and procurement activities of the business
• Advising management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies and actions.
• Deploying internal control policies, guidelines and procedures
• Preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets and ad hoc reports as required.
• Supervision of a small accounts team.
• Development and maintenance of relationships with auditors, bankers and other external parties.

Experience:

• Qualified Accountant
• Industry experience, ideally within a product orientated technology company
• US GAAP and Sarbox experience preferable
• Used to working to tight deadlines
• Ability to be both hands on and contribute to company strategy
