Recovery & Reorganisation Manager

Location: Cambridge

Our client has the largest Recovery and Reorganisation team in the region and supplies a range of services to underperforming businesses and their stakeholders.  They identify and resolve issues affecting profitability, protecting enterprise value and facilitating full recovery where possible.  They have dedicated sector specialists covering agriculture, haulage & logistics, technology and professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

• To manage their own portfolio, taking responsibility for compliance, budgets and billing.

• To understand all insolvency and all aspects of cases including pensions, tax, employment, environmental issues and all types of creditor claims.

• To undertake strategic reviews and reporting processes (including cash flow and trading forecasts).

• To work with partners and clients to agree recovery targets.

• To adhere to the firms risk management policies and any strategic requirements.

• To work with partners to build the business.

The ideal candidate

• Previous experience within Recovery and an appetite for insolvency.

• Experience of undertaking and managing IBR / strategic reviews.

• A commercial approach to business development and a strong local network.

• A qualified accountant is preferred and industry experience would be useful.
