
Transaction Support Executive
Salary: Up to £65,000 (£42,000 starting)
Location: Cambridge or Luton
Due to continuing growth and success, this large professional services
firm is seeking high performing experienced professionals who can bring
strong commercial awareness and relationship-building abilities to the
transaction support teams.
The Transaction Support team assists clients throughout the whole transaction
process for mergers, acquisitions and disposals. This fast-moving and commercially
focused role incorporates traditional financial due diligence along with
strategic transaction assessment, commercial due diligence, transaction
management, negotiation and documentation, and post-completion integration.
Key responsibilities:
- Robust analysis of the financials and assessing the impact on
the transaction
- Identifying and understanding key business drivers
to support and deliver value to clients
- Driving process of gathering,
and analysing information to formulate views and conclusions
- Preparation
of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with
clients
- Develop networks through personal contacts and previous experiences
- Actively
seek opportunities to sell additional services to our clients
This is an ideal opportunity if you have a background in corporate finance,
financial reporting or analysis, and wish to move into practice. It would
also suit someone with experience in a similar role or in mainstream
audit looking for a move into a fast-growing firm. You should be able
to demonstrate outstanding numeracy and analytical skills, a logical
and methodical approach with the ability to think laterally, excellent
report-writing and spreadsheet skills, and the ability to keep calm under
pressure.
Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Degree – 2:2 or higher
- 3 A levels grade B or higher (or equivalent)
