The latest in our series of informal Financial Controllers Lunch Club events took place on 25 April, where Financial Controllers from Cambridge's technology companies met at Girton College to network with their peers in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Guest speaker David Cleevely shared his insights into an entrepreneur’s expectations of the finance function within a growing technology business, drawing on his extensive trade sale and listing experience.

David is Chairman and co-founder of Abcam, the web-based antibody company, the founder and former Chairman of telecoms consultancy Analysys and the founder of 3Way Networks and CRFS. A key figure in the Cambridge technology scene, David was a major force behind the success of the Cambridge Network and is a member of Cambridge Angels.  He is also a member of the Ofcom Spectrum Advisory Board and has over 35 years experience in digital communications and networking.
