Build, build, build!
Established as the region's leading early stage technology focused
executive search firm Bailey Fisher has been building its brand in
a number of ways over the last 12 months. We have made a concerted
effort to create a dynamic team, re-branding the business and appointing
an industry leader as our Chairman. We are delighted to welcome a number
of new members to our team.
John Cronin joined our board with effect from December
2006, bringing a wealth of experience, contacts and enthusiasm around
the high growth technology arena. As CEO and President of Azure Solutions
John grew the company from a spin-out venture from NVP Brightstar four
years ago, to a successful exit of $140m, to Subex in early
in 2006. “I am keen to get involved with a business that mirrors
the core values that I hold highly when building start-up ventures. Building the best management team is right at the top of the list of
core values” said John.
David Boorman has joined as Business Director to
support the technology practice, which Paul Bailey has developed over
the last 8 years. David brings a great new dimension to the business;
a technical background, which spans the software/hardware and telecommunications/public,
broadcast markets having had an early career at ARM and subsequently
with a number of blue chip telecoms companies. David has already made
a significant impact to the business developing relationships with
start-up ventures through his established network.
Rachel Keaveney joins as Business Director, having
qualified as an ACCA with Deloitte’s in Cambridge and then moving
into a commercial role as a head of finance with a Cambridge based
venture capital backed company. Rachel will be working with Ann
Fisher (Owner) who has carved out a niche market focusing
on the professional firms and winning assignments in East Anglia, London
and the Midlands.
The last 12 months have been testament to our success, we have made
a significant number of key hires at VP and executive level as well
as playing a part in this year's successful Running the Gauntlet programme.
Our network is ever increasing and we were delighted to be introduced
to other investment and networking forums outside of the Cambridge
area.
On the professional services side we have been retained exclusively
by a number of leading firms to undertake ‘partner’ level
searches and have continued to support the more regionally focused
firms with their development plans.
“ I am delighted to have this new team on board going into 2007” said Paul
Bailey, Managing Director “we all have
a sense of excitement around the opportunities that we are already engaged
with for a number of clients looking at board level appointments and
can continue to see our market share increasing in 2007”. < Back
