Bailey Fisher’s informal networking event for first-time CEOs
Bailey Fisher builds on the success of its popular Women 4 Technology and Finance 4 Technology networking events with the second in a new series of informal events for first-time CEOs.
First-time CEOs has been set up as a forum for those running their first venture to benefit from exchanging ideas with their peers in a relaxed environment. First-time CEOs from in and around the Cambridge cluster meet for informal networking and discussion over drinks and a pub meal. Interest in the event has been keen, and feedback very positive. Shamus Husheer, Co-founder and CEO of Cambridge Temperature Concepts, who attended the inaugural event, says: “The event was a rare opportunity for a free and frank discussion amongst first-time CEOs within the Cambridge Cluster. As could be expected, technology trends and the current economic climate were discussed in equal measure, with insight, analysis, and suggestions provided by all. Certainly an evening of benefit to all who attended.”
Bailey Fisher looks forward to welcoming first-time CEOs from the technology sector to the second event in the series, which takes place in the private room at The Fountain Inn on Regent Street on 10 November. Drinks and a pub meal will be served and Paul Taylor, Co-founder and CEO of Phonetic Arts, will chair a discussion around the experiences of raising external funding.
