Supporting Tom’s Trust, the event brought together the life sciences and technology community to raise vital funds for children with brain tumours and their families.
Bailey Fisher recently hosted its annual Charity Golf Day at Hunstanton Golf Club, welcoming more than 80 guests across 20 teams for a day of fundraising, networking and golf in support of Tom’s Trust.
While the weather conditions were certainly memorable – with heavy rain and strong winds throughout much of the day – the atmosphere and enthusiasm from everyone involved never wavered, making the event a fantastic success from start to finish.
Thanks to the generosity of all those who attended and supported the event, Bailey Fisher is delighted to have raised a significant amount for Tom’s Trust, with the final fundraising total still being confirmed. Funds were raised through team entries, the raffle, auction, refreshments and prize draw held throughout the day.
Special thanks go to Charles le Strange for performing the shotgun start, and to Deb and Kirsty from Tom’s Trust for their continued support and contribution to the event.
Most importantly, Bailey Fisher would like to thank all the teams who took part, embraced the challenging conditions and helped create such a positive and enjoyable day. The humour, resilience and generosity shown throughout were truly appreciated and played a huge part in making the event such a success.
The event once again highlighted the strength of the Bailey Fisher network and the value of bringing together leaders from across the life sciences and technology sectors in support of an important cause.
We are already looking forward to next year’s event – hopefully with slightly calmer weather conditions.
