On 15th June we celebrated our 25th anniversary with a party for 100 close friends of the business at The Gonville Hotel, Cambridge; and the opening of our new office in Manchester.

We're proud to have been an integral part of the deep tech and life sciences community in Cambridge and across the UK since 1998, during which time we've supported the growth of some of the UK’s most innovative technology and life sciences businesses as they commercialise their technologies to compete in the global markets.

Our office in Manchester office will continue our work hiring impactful leaders for investor backed start ups and scale ups across the UK, and we're delighted to welcome Justin Carpenter to the team as a Partner and head of the region. Justin brings over 25 years’ experience within executive search in technology and life sciences, working throughout the UK, Europe and US.

Andrew Moore, Managing Partner, says “It’s a truly exciting time for us. We’ve been working with companies across the North West for some time and have been looking for someone to lead an office for us there.  In Justin, we’ve found the right person.”

Toby Young, Managing Partner adds “Manchester is now second only to London in number of tech start ups. The area is seeing increased investment, with new ventures such as Northern Gritstone founded last year to catalyse the commercialisation of IP-rich tech companies in the North. We’ve been working with tech businesses in the area for some time, and we’re excited about being able to help more clients as they build the teams they need for growth. We’re delighted to welcome Justin to the Bailey Fisher team as our lead in the region.”

Justin says "The North West tech ecosystem is poised for explosive growth, with Manchester at the heart of the action. Bailey Fisher has been one of the leading executive search firms working with IP rich UK growth companies and I look forward to continuing this work with clients across the country.”

Thank you to everyone who came to the Cambridge anniversary party to help us celebrate this milestone.
